Treatments

Q: What is reflexology, and how can it help me?
A: Reflexology is a holistic therapy that applies gentle pressure to reflex points on the feet (or hands) to support organs and body systems. It can help with stress, hormonal balance, fertility, period pain, pregnancy support, and more.

Q: What is fertility massage?
A: Fertility massage is a specialised abdominal massage designed to support reproductive health. It aims to improve circulation, reduce tension, and promote hormonal balance, potentially supporting conception, menstrual health, and pregnancy.

Q: Is fertility massage safe?
A: Yes, fertility massage is  safe when performed by a trained therapist. However, it may not be suitable for everyone (e.g., certain medical conditions or during pregnancy). We always discuss your health history before starting any treatment.

Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: This depends on what you’re working on. For fertility or hormonal support, some clients benefit from regular sessions (e.g., weekly or biweekly), especially leading up to key phases in their cycle. For stress relief or general wellness, fewer sessions may be sufficient. During our initial consultation, we'll tailor a plan that suits your goals.

Before, During & After a Session

Q: What should I wear / how should I prepare?
A: Wear comfortable clothes that allow access to the area being treated (feet for reflexology, abdomen for fertility massage). Avoid eating a heavy meal just before a session.

Q: Will a session hurt?
A: Reflexology and fertility massage are generally relaxing, though you might feel tension or mild discomfort in areas that are “stuck” or sensitive. If at any point something feels too uncomfortable, please tell Michelle — she will adjust accordingly.

Q: What can I expect after a treatment?
A: Many clients feel deeply relaxed, so it’s a good idea to rest afterwards and drink plenty of water. Some may notice changes in their cycle, mood, or energy over the following days. Regular sessions often produce cumulative benefits.

Booking & Practicalities

Q: How do I book a session?
A: You can book via the “Book Now” button on the website. If you're unsure which treatment is best for you, feel free to send a message via the contact form — I’m happy to help guide you.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Please let me know 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Q: Do you take payment on the day?
A: Yes — payment is taken at the end of the session. We accept (cash / bank transfer / card).

Q: Do you do gift vouchers?
A: Yes! Gift vouchers are available for reflexology or fertility massage — a lovely way to support someone you care about.

Suitability & Safety

Q: Is reflexology suitable during pregnancy?
A: Yes, reflexology can be very supportive during pregnancy. However, timing and techniques may be adapted for safety — we’ll discuss this during your consultation.

Q: Who should avoid fertility massage?
A: Some conditions may make fertility massage inadvisable (e.g., recent surgery, certain reproductive health diagnoses. During your first session, we’ll go through your health history in detail to make sure we’re working safely.

Q: Is reflexology/massage backed by evidence?
A: Reflexology and massage are complementary therapies; they are not a replacement for medical or fertility treatment. Many clients use them alongside conventional care. They are valued for their ability to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and support the body’s own healing processes.

Outcomes & Expectations

Q: How quickly will I see results?
A: Healing is individual. Some people notice benefits (like reduced stress or more regular cycles) after just a couple of sessions, while for others it takes longer. Consistency often helps — but we’ll tailor a plan that feels right for you.

Q: Do you guarantee conception / full healing?
A: While many clients experience positive benefits, I cannot guarantee conception or complete resolution of every issue. My role is to support your body, mind, and energy, working in partnership with any medical or fertility care you’re receiving.

Q: Can I combine reflexology with other therapies / treatments?
A: Yes — many clients use reflexology or fertility massage alongside medical, psychological, or other complementary therapies.
